Job Summary

• Supervise Craft employee's for the safe and efficient operations and maintenance of a single unit natural gas fired steam unit with special emphasis on Boiler and Machinery and process safety Processes. • Provides supervision and direction to a power plant multi-skilled crew including mechanical, electrical, instrument and control, laboratory, environmental and/or production personnel.
• •Responsible for the day-to-day operation and/or maintenance of the generating units, while maintaining a safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• •Other responsibilities may include long and short term planning, conditioned based maintenance, project management and contractor interface.
• •Will be assigned to work a normal day shift schedule, but will be on call and expected to cover the plant on a 7 day, 24 hour basis.
• •This position is also subject to working temporary assignment in other areas of Luminant Power during periods of low plant utilization.

• Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
• •Minimum of six years power plant or equivalent experience and a working knowledge of power plant systems, plus knowledge of operations and/or asset management concepts and practices.
