Plow Truck Operator - 2026/27 Season

• Position Type: Seasonal Contract - Part-Time
• Hours of Work: Variable - Monday through Sunday, days and evenings-3-4 shifts per week – based on weather demands
• Location: Orono, Ontario
• Reporting to: Outdoor Operations Manager
• Start Date: Late November/Early December

We are currently seeking outgoing, customer-focused team members to help us turn everyday visits into wonderful winter memories.

We are currently seeking Plow Truck Operators for the 2026/27 Winter Season to operate Brimacombe's plow truck on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for snow removal on, and the general care and maintenance of all Brimacombe Parking areas, access roads, paths and throughways

Change operational time signage in each parking lot daily or as required

Maintain lines of communication with the General Manager, Outdoor Operations Manager, Department Manager, Snowmaking Team Leads and co-workers regarding hill conditions, facility/run/lift closures, special events, etc.

Perform daily inspections on vehicles, on-snow vehicles and/or other pieces of equipment or methods of supplied transportation being utilized and provide accurate and legible inspection log sheet(s)

Report daily facility opening and closings and all terrain conditions to the Ontario Snow Resorts Association web page

Maintain parking lot bollard positions, signs and emptying garbage containers

Maintain awareness and practice safe operational procedures and limitations of all related equipment

Assist mobile equipment mechanic and/or maintenance department

Maintain and complete, accurate and legible documentations of all required logs and journals that may be required of your position

Charlie-Tango-Alpha-Foxtrot – using radios for communication

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating a Plow Truck and Tractor, preferred

Valid Driver's license

Willing and able to work in all weather conditions

Basic knowledge and comfort with computers and tablets

Strong communication and time management skills

25 years of age or older

Able to work with varying start times depending upon weather
