THE JOB:

As a Poker Room Attendant, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by greeting guests entering the poker room all while building positive long lasting relationships with them. By understanding our guests’ unique stories and needs, you will deliver WOW experiences that our guests will carry with them far and beyond their time with us.

THE STARTING RATE:

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Responsible for the placement of guests into games
  • Develop customer relations and facilitate usage of the MGM rewards card
  • Explain rules and answer questions for guests
  • Open games in accordance with the supervisor’s instructions
  • Get players checks and maintain poker table banks to ensure efficient operation
  • Responsible for tracking players by using computer tracking system
  • Evaluate play for complimentary purposes

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • One year of prior poker experience preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts to include weekends, holidays, and evenings
