  • Job Description:
  • This job is responsible for leading a team to maximize the value delivered through multiple programs and/or value streams within a small, less complex delivery portfolio. Key responsibilities include managing and developing the team through coaching, mentoring and feedback, aligning strategy, and execution by applying Lean and systems thinking approaches to strategy, investment funding, portfolio operations, and governance. Job expectations include managing the portfolio, ensuring compliance to standards, and driving continuous improvement to operations and governance.

Position Summary:

Global Operations Emerging Technology (GOET) is the horizontal AI, data, and automation delivery team for Global Operations. The Portfolio Delivery Manager leads GOET's horizontal delivery programs, starting with scaling AI agent delivery across Global Operations, and turns demand into sequenced, funded, and governed work. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will triage and shape use cases, decide when AI is the right answer and when a simpler deterministic solution fits better, evaluate enterprise agent-building platforms, and partner with engineers to build prototypes and demos to prove out approaches. You will also run the portfolio's operating rhythm: intake, prioritization, governance, delivery metrics, executive reporting, and multi-year funding plans. The role works across business, technology, risk, compliance, and peer engineering teams, keeping work aligned to Responsible AI expectations and enterprise standards. Leadership is through a matrixed delivery team at first, with the opportunity to grow into direct people leadership. Success looks like faster, predictable delivery of AI solutions that people reuse, plus clear priorities and very few surprises.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs and leads a delivery team aligned to a portfolio and mentors Delivery Leads
  • Manages and improves portfolio operations and governance processes, ensuring risks and roadblocks are escalated and resolved quickly
  • Builds relationships with business and technology executives across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
  • Partners with the key stakeholders and leaders to define the vision and creating the portfolio roadmap aligned to strategic goals
  • Provides status updates and reporting for the portfolio to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the desired outcomes, delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Manages overall portfolio financials, Profit and Loss (P&L), and performance
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Leads the horizontal AI and agent delivery program for Global Operations, from intake and triage through solution design, sizing, and path to production. This includes redirecting use cases that are better served by deterministic solutions
  • Evaluates enterprise AI and agent-building platforms and drives their adoption. Leverages hands-on prototypes and demos to validate approaches and speed up decisions with engineering partners
  • Owns annual and multi-year funding plans and business cases for the portfolio, and coordinates delivery across peer technology teams and AI governance processes

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in technology delivery, portfolio management, product management, or solution engineering
  • Experience leading multi-program portfolios in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Hands-on technical depth in AI or GenAI solutions, with the ability to build demos and prototypes to validate approaches
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as code assistants
  • Experience delivering AI, ML, or automation solutions in a regulated environment, including risk and governance processes
  • Strong executive communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated financial management, including business cases, forecasting, and multi-year funding plans
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
  • Background coaching or mentoring technical and delivery staff

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with enterprise AI and agent platforms, such as low-code agent builders, orchestration frameworks, LLM services, and tool-integration patterns
  • Solution architecture or design background, with the ability to weigh build vs. reuse vs. buy
  • Proficiency in Python or SQLBackground in Global Operations, Shared Services, Data, or Analytics
  • Experience driving process transformation and operational excellence
