You will partner with the Head of PSM to drive the strategy, business planning, operations, and team culture, ensuring our PSM team is aligned, agile, and positioned for impact in a complex and evolving landscape.

Your responsibilities will also include leading and contributing to cross-portfolio initiatives, partnering with senior Pharma leaders and cross-functional teams to shape portfolio strategy, assess portfolio dynamics, and develop insights and strategic options to inform portfolio-wide decisions and prioritization. The balance between PSM-focused strategy and operations and broader portfolio-focused work may shift over time based on business needs.

Accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Lead the planning and facilitation of PSM LT and All Staff meetings, leveraging agile practices to enable rigorous discussion, clear decision-making, and actionable outcomes. Oversee the holistic health of the PSM ecosystem by monitoring the intersection of team performance and organizational health, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen the ecosystem.
  • PSM Talent Deployment Architect and Decision Support: Build and manage systems and processes to match team skills and interests to the highest impact business needs, in support of PSM priorities.
  • Operations Leadership and Culture Building: Operationalize strategic priorities while championing a connected team culture of learning, adaptability, operational excellence, and fun within the team.
  • Liaison & Network Integrator: Represent PSM on Product Development workstreams as needed. Take the lead on maintaining a strong Portfolio network with peer groups in gRED, pRED, and GPS.
  • Cross-Portfolio Strategy and Special Projects: Partner with senior Pharma leaders and teams to shape portfolio-wide strategy and lead cross-portfolio initiatives and special projects. Structure complex, ambiguous questions, define the work and analysis needed, synthesize evidence and stakeholder perspectives into clear recommendations, and align contributors on plans and milestones to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Portfolio Assessments and Insights: Assess and communicate portfolio dynamics, including risk, value, mix, competitive positioning and performance, to inform portfolio strategy and prioritization. Synthesize quantitative and qualitative analyses, external benchmarking and business planning inputs into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
  • Portfolio Decision Quality and Prioritization : Partner with decision-makers to frame portfolio-level choices, assess strategic options and investment trade-offs, and draw on valuation inputs, business cases and risk assessments where relevant. Help shape fit-for-purpose decision pathways and prioritization approaches that support timely, high-quality portfolio decisions.
