Your Role

As a Junior Power BI Developer at Capgemini , you will support the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with business users, analysts, and data engineering teams to develop reports, dashboards, and data models that provide actionable insights across the organization.

Responsibilities & Scope

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• •Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards .
• •Create interactive visualizations and KPI dashboards that support business reporting needs.
• •Transform business requirements into meaningful reports and analytical solutions.
• •Assist in the design and implementation of self-service reporting capabilities.

Data Modeling & Analytics

• •Develop and maintain Power BI data models using industry best practices.
• •Create and optimize calculations, measures, and KPIs using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) .
• •Connect and integrate data from multiple sources, including:
• •SQL Databases
• •Excel Files
• •SharePoint
• •Cloud-Based Data Sources

Support data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance activities.

Report Development & Optimization

• •Troubleshoot reporting issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• •Optimize dashboard performance and improve report usability.
• •Assist with testing and validation activities to ensure report accuracy and reliability.
• •Support report deployment and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Collaboration & Documentation

• •Gather and document reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
• •Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and business users to deliver analytics solutions.
• •Create and maintain technical and functional documentation for dashboards, reports, and data sources.
• •Provide end-user support and basic training for Power BI reports and reporting tools.
