The Advanced Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in the efficient operation of a physician practice. This individual oversees various administrative and operational functions to ensure the smooth functioning of the practice. They are responsible for managing caregivers, financial activities, patient relations, and regulatory compliance.

Position Details:

Practice Manager

Mercy Clinic Primary Care

Full Time, Exempt

Key Responsibilities

Lead clinic staff to deliver a high-quality patient experience and outcomes

Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff performance and engagement

Support providers through effective communication and coordination of care

Oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient access

Ensure compliance with operational standards, policies, and EHR use

Manage practice performance, including financials, work queues, and key metrics

Drive patient experience, quality improvement, and growth initiatives

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: High school Diploma or equivalent

Experience : 1 year experience in supervisory role in physician clinic setting

Skills, Knowledge Abilities:

Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate caregivers to achieve practice goals.

Problem-solving: Capacity to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other stakeholders.

Time Management: Efficiently prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education : Bachelors degree
