We are looking for a highly motivated and capable Pre-Analytic Training Coordinator to help onboard and train new and existing employees across our Pre-Analytics department (Accessioning, Order Processing, and Returns).
Responsibilities:
- Lead / coordinate the onboarding of new employees as well as initial training in Preanalytic workflows to ensure a positive new hire experience.
- Provide / coordinate ongoing group and individualized training in specimen receipt, order creation, order updates, accessioning, order review, specimen returns for purposes of work performance enhancement and general education.
- Deliver training in department policies and procedures.
- Conduct related competency evaluation.
- Develop and implement appropriate resources and tools to accomplish training objectives.
- Evaluate and update existing training materials and plans.
- Serve as a subject matter expert / procedural resource for department employees and external stakeholders (i.e. IT, Product, other downstream functions).
- Support leadership and Quality Manager with their goals in relation to quality and service metrics.
- Assist with the creation and execution of improvement plans for underperforming employees.
- Maintain accurate logs and records for all training competency assessments conducted.
- Provide training with respect and professionalism at all times.
- Perform bench work as needed (not exceed 25% of the time).
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- 3+ years relevant work/training experience.
- Ability to design and implement training, and to measure and report on training effectiveness and outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks to others.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to navigate change.
- Ability to work with others to plan and carry out training programs.
- Self-driven and works well in a cross-functional team with minimal direction.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to work onsite in our Chicago office 5 days a week
Illinois Pay: $25.00/hour
The expected salary range may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
