This is Butler’s Pantry .

And we are looking for someone who lives to serve and knows that teamwork is the foundation of success to join our team as a Prep Cook.

Our Prep Cook ensures all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet the specifications and commitment to quality set forth by Butler’s Pantry.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

GET THE JOB DONE (The necessary stuff)

• •Arrive at your station ready to work at scheduled time and in proper uniform
• •Complete prep lists in an efficient, timely manner
• •Use culinary knowledge in combination with company recipes when prepping or assisting with any other production step to ensure work is done efficiently and correctly
• •Use scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards and perform portion control tests
• •Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a “like new” condition
• •Adhere to all company policies and procedures and be a good example to fellow employees to do the same
• •Practice sanitation and food safety at all times

Additional Qualifications and Requirements:

• •Culinary experience with a caterer or restaurant
• •Ability to chop, dice, measure, read prep lists, and follow instruction
• •Safe food handling and safety is a top priority
• •Professional appearance and conduct
• •Capable of executing and following recipes
• •Team player
• •Ability to handle a physically demanding role (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads)
• •Ability to work a flexible and sometimes non-traditional schedule based on event demands
• •Hepatitis A Vaccination required
• •ServSafe Certification preferred
