This position requires early morning availability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

• •Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
• •Extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients
• •Fulfill orders accurately as dictated by par sheets
• •Strictly follow recipes and take personal pride in every item delivered for service
• •Able to safely use and operate kitchen machinery
• •Handle, store, date, and rotate all products properly
• •Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a Manager
• •Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
• •Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
• •Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect

Requirements

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card. Kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions

• •Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
• •Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
• •Lift and carry 30+ lbs
• •Work in fluctuating temperature environments
• •Read recipes and convert units of measure
• •Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
• •Self-motivation and the ability to accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• •Basic knowledge of kitchen terminology, methodology, and knife skills
