JOB TITLE: Pricing Solutions Developer

MAIN LOCATION: Jordan, Amman

Objective:

The Pricing Solutions Developer s is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data applications, automation tools , and analytical applications that support pricing decision-making across the parcel freight business.

This role sits within the Pricing team and focuses on transforming complex pricing data into intuitive insights through Streamlit applications and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Looker. The role plays a critical part in enabling the Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams to make faster, more accurate pricing decisions by providing scalable applications , automated workflows, and clear commercial insights.

  • The successful candidate will combine strong software development skills
  • with analytical thinking , contributing not only to day-to-day pricing support but also to longer-term pricing capability uplift through automation, self-service reporting, and internal tool development.

As senior members of the team, they will set technical standards, review code, and guide best practices in Python development and version control.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Streamlit applications to support pricing analysis, scenario modeling, deal evaluation, and internal decision-making.

Analyze pricing trends, performance drivers, and anomalies, translating findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with pricing governance frameworks, including documentation, approvals, and audit requirements.

Build intuitive, user-friendly analytical tools that enable Sales, Commercial, and Finance teams to interact with pricing data.

Automate recurring pricing workflows and manual processes using Python , improving efficiency and scalability.

Manage code repositories on GitHub, including version control, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and merges; promote clean, well-structured, maintainable code.

Maintain and update technical documentation, functional requirements, and solution designs.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all analytical outputs.

Work with large datasets using SQL and Python to extract, transform, and prepare data for analysis and reporting.

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement through automation, self-service analytics, and workflow optimization.

Essential Skills:

3 + years of experience in Python development, data applications, analytics engineering, data analytics, or a related technical role.

Proficiency in Python , with hands-on experience building data applications and analytical tools using Streamlit .

Develop and update features using Python, Streamlit, and Pandas.

Experience developing dashboards and reports using Looker and/or Tableau is a plus.

Strong experience working with SQL and large datasets for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Strong working knowledge of Git and GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews, collaborative workflows).

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
