Our Sales team is committed to maximizing the value and impact of Karat's solution within our most significant enterprise partnerships, working closely with engineering and recruiting leaders to drive transformational hiring outcomes. Through strategic consultation and data-driven insights, we guide organizations through complex change management initiatives that deliver measurable business value and program growth.

What you will do

As a Principal Client Advisor, you will be responsible for 1) landing new business logos and also 2) supporting customers through their entire customer lifecycle by delivering hiring and analytical expertise that allows them to transform their hiring processes into a competitive advantage. In keeping a close relationship with your book of business, you will be responsible for the continued expansion of their accounts.

This role will require up to 20% travel for strategic face-to-face meetings with enterprise prospects and industry events.

Serve as the strategic advisor for the Company's most sophisticated enterprise clients, managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships and delivering high-impact solutions that drive transformational outcomes.

Lead strategic growth initiatives for a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts, consistently driving exceptional YOY revenue growth through renewals and expansions.

Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and closing, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to orchestrate successful outcomes.

Cultivate executive-level relationships across your portfolio of enterprise clients, positioning the Company's solutions to address complex organizational challenges and achieve measurable business impact.

Analyze various performance data sets and metrics, continuously providing insights that ensure clients make informed decisions throughout their Company partnership.

Work closely with other GTM teams to develop and execute account strategies that maximize opportunities for growth within the client account.

Act as the client's voice within the Company, representing their feedback and needs to relevant teams, such as product, marketing, solutions, and customer experience.

Partner with senior stakeholders across divisions to drive organizational change management, building consensus on hiring process improvements and establishing shared goals, success metrics, and accountability frameworks.

The experience you will bring

10+ years of strategic enterprise SaaS sales or account management, with at least 4+ years selling to enterprise FinServ and/or FinTech organizations, with a track record of consistently exceeding quota.

Success in fast-paced, high-growth, and quick-change environments preferred

Demonstrated success closing complex enterprise deals ($250k-$1m+) with 6+ month sale cycles involving multiple stakeholders and business units in regulated financial environments.

Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships at Fortune 500 or similarly large enterprise organizations

Experience driving upsell/expansion revenue while maintaining high retention rates in a B2B SaaS environment

Strong consulting background or demonstrated ability to influence C-level stakeholders and drive organizational change (technical leaders a strong plus)

History of managing large-scale technology implementations or transformation projects

Deep expertise in building business cases and ROI analyses to justify program expansions

Strong understanding of technical recruiting, engineering operations, or related domains that impact senior technology leaders

Experience using modern sales tech stack (Salesforce, Sales Engagement Platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)

This position is only available to candidates residing in the New York City Metropolitan Area only. While our team operates 100% remotely, we are currently limiting hiring to these specific locations. Applications from other locations/states will not be considered at this time.

This role offers competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) comprising base salary plus sales commission, along with benefits and equity. While the commission opportunity is uncapped, it is not guaranteed.

A variety of factors may influence final compensation packages, including professional background, experience, and location. Actual offers may differ from the ranges listed below.

The base salary range for this position is:

$150,000 — $180,000 USD

The annual commission target for this position is:

$90,000 — $120,000 USD
