Role : Principal Scientist-Speciality Polymer (Polyurethanes, Polyamides, Polyols)

Role Overview

Scimplify is seeking a Speciality Polymer R&D Leader to lead innovation and process development in polyurethane systems, polyamides, and polyos for speciality industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead polymer synthesis and formulation development .
  • Drive new product development for specialty polymer applications .
  • Develop scalable processes for polyurethane, polyamide, and polyol systems .
  • Work closely with commercial teams to translate market requirements into product innovation .
  • Manage pilot scale development and technology transfer to manufacturing .
  • Build strong collaborations with global customers and research partners .
  • Lead and mentor the polymer R&D team .

Qualifications

  • PhD / M.Tech in Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering .
  • Strong experience in polymer synthesis and formulation chemistry .
  • Experience in global/MNC R&D environments .
  • Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in R&D .
