Summary

Job Description:

  • Job Summary
  • May performs waived and moderate high complexity testing according to CLIA ‘88 guidelines;
  • interprets and reports results for established tests in Microbiology. Performs quality control, quality
  • assurance and maintenance. Works independently but under the supervision of the department
  • coordinator or a certified technologist/technician. Duties include clerical tasks, specimen collection,
  • accessioning and processing of specimens. Answers phones, relays patient results and monitors
  • expected/outstanding logs.

Minimum Requirements

For areas of moderate-complexity testing, have earned a high school diploma or equivalent
