ALLY Psychiatry is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care and hospital consultations at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina .

What You'll Do

As a PRN Psychiatrist , you will provide psychiatric services in an inpatient hospital setting and assist with psychiatric consultations as needed.

Responsibilities may include:

• •Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment
• •Perform psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• •Provide medication management
• •Respond to and complete psychiatric hospital consultations
• •Evaluate patients referred for behavioral health and psychiatric concerns
• •Provide coverage during weekends, holidays, and psychiatrist vacations
• •Collaborate with a team of mid-level psychiatric providers
• •Communicate with hospital staff and other members of the treatment team
• •Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• •Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric care

Requirements

• •Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
• •Active and unrestricted medical license applicable to South Carolina
• •Previous inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
• •Comfortable providing hospital psychiatric consultations
• •Strong clinical assessment and medication-management skills
• •Excellent communication and collaboration skills
