About us

At Dyson, we are driven by technology, engineering excellence and the ambition to solve problems others ignore. Our Singapore Advanced Manufacturing site plays a critical role in delivering highly automated manufacturing capability, and we are looking for a Process Technician to support stable day-to-day process performance, quality execution and continuous improvement across our production lines.

This role is hands-on and line-focused. You will work closely with engineers, production teams and line maintenance to monitor process trends, support troubleshooting, record accurate observations, and help drive practical improvements that strengthen yield, quality and operational efficiency.

About the role

As a Process Technician, you will play an important role in supporting manufacturing process stability on the shopfloor. You will help identify and respond to process deviations, support basic investigations, assist with engineering builds and trials, and ensure process data is captured accurately to enable effective decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor production line performance, including yield and quality indicators, and work with cross-functional teams to sustain performance.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting and support root-cause investigations during high rejection or non-conformance incidents, with guidance from engineers.
  • Support engineers in resolving daily production issues and carrying out continuous improvement activities.
  • Carry out engineering builds and process trials in line with defined procedures.
  • Perform basic defect checks, process verification and accurate recording of process data and observations.
  • Support operator training based on work instructions and follow all safety, quality and 5S requirements.

About you

  • At least 3 years of experience in an automated manufacturing line environment.
  • ITC or Diploma in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing machines and equipment, with confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to distinguish between coloured wires, signals, indicators, or labels, which is required and critical for safe performance of duties.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented and disciplined in following safety, quality and process standards.
  • A team player who is comfortable working on shifts, performing overtime where required, and contributing ideas for improvement.
