Procurement Buyer I

The Littelfuse Procurement and Category Management team is looking for a Procurement Buyer who will be responsible for supporting procurement activities, managing supplier delivery performance, maintaining accurate purchasing data in SAP, and supporting sourcing and cost improvement initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, resolve pricing discrepancies, support engineering changes, and maintain supply continuity to support plant operations.

About the Job:

• •Monitor supplier delivery performance (OTD) and proactively follow up on late shipments to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted production.
• •Create and maintain supplier master records, purchasing info records, and pricing conditions in SAP, ensuring purchasing data accuracy and processing supplier price changes.
• •Analyze and resolve blocked invoices caused by pricing discrepancies, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to support timely supplier payments.
• •Request, collect, and analyze supplier quotations for new and existing part numbers, prepare cost comparisons, and support Procurement Leads in sourcing decisions.
• •Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support engineering changes and plant requirements.
• •Track supplier quality incidents and corrective actions, collaborating with Quality and Engineering teams to support supplier performance improvement initiatives.

About You:

• •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• •At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
• •Experience building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• •Knowledge of supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and contract management.
• •Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• •Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP is highly desirable.
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• •Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• •Proactive team player with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
