How you will make contributions that matter

Join Saputo Dairy Australia as Procurement Manager – Supply Chain, based at our head office at Freshwater Place, Southbank. Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager – Supply Chain, Third Party and Corporate, you will lead procurement strategies across complex supply chain categories, partnering with Operations, Finance and Customer Service to balance cost, service, risk and supply continuity. Key elements of your role will include:

• •Developing and executing category strategies backed by spend analysis, market intelligence and supplier risk assessment
• •Leading supplier selection, tenders and RFP processes for your categories
• •Negotiating complex commercial and contractual agreements, working closely with our Legal team
• •Delivering category KPIs including cost savings, cash flow benefits and service improvements
• •Managing supplier relationships and performance to protect supply assurance and business continuity
• •Ensuring compliance with procurement governance, policy and chain of responsibility obligations
• •Contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes, systems and tools

About you

• •Experience in Procurement, including experience in large, complex organisations
• •Proven category management and strategic sourcing experience across multiple categories, ideally within supply chain or logistics
• •Demonstrated success leading tenders and RFPs and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• •Strong analytical and commercial skills, with working knowledge of contract law
• •Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
• •Proficiency in SAP and ARIBA; SAP TM experience highly regarded
