Product & Application Specialist, Presbyond, REF, MED, VN

This position will be responsible for the Product and Application of PRESBYOND in REF, OPT SBU, ensuring clinical excellence, repeatable outcomes, and seamless workflow execution for refractive devices and PRESBYOND. This person will be responsible for the product and application of PRESBYOND activities, regular visits of existing and prospective customers across the region, conducting Product presentations and Clinical training to prospective customers, maintaining close relationships with potential business partners and dealers and implementing promotional activities such as trade shows, exhibitions and seminars ect to develop the REF business within OPT in North; including but not limited to:

• •Conducting clinical application training for REF surgeons/customers at Zeiss training center and/or at customer site, including deep-dive training on the PRESBYOND treatment workflow (patient selection, refraction protocols, centration, cyclotorsion, binocular balancing, aberration considerations, suitability assessment, treatment planning, and outcome interpretation).
• •Focusing on clinical uses, education, and improving customer workflows, while providing on-site case support and evaluations to optimize early outcomes and build surgeon confidence.
• •Developing, maintaining, and delivering applications-focused training on the equipment and accessories about PRESBYOND.
• •Applying product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues where needed.
• •Conducting product and solution presentations of PRESBYOND for customers, managing key accounts, and building KOLs for the REF business in the region.
• •Delivering product training for the sales team, as well as CAS, PDC, and Marketing teams, covering PRESBYOND clinical fundamentals, workflows, and best practices.
• •Maintaining knowledge and understanding of competitive products/market updates.
• •Supporting the preparation of bids for major tenders/projects in your territory.
• •Supporting sales members with technical matters such as log files, case records.

1. Education / Professional Certification

Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Biomedical, Marketing, or related fields

Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry is a plus

2. Experience

• •3 - 5 years’ experience in product and application in medical device industry
• •Knowledge of the medical ophthalmology industry is a priority
• •Experienced in OR working with doctors/surgeons
• •Strong analytical skills are necessary to evaluate market trends, customer feedback, and other data to make informed decisions about product development and marketing.
