Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Product Director 3.

Genpact is scaling its Agentic AI product portfolio across enterprise service lines - and we need builders to help us scale.

As a Director in the Agentic AI Product function, you will sit at the intersection of AI product execution and enterprise operations. This role is for someone who knows how to take a product from 1 to 10—building the foundation, scaling it across customers, markets and use cases, and continuously improving it along the way. Someone who stays close to the product and thrives in the journey from early-stage build to scaled execution.

Job Responsibilities

Own end-to-end execution of agentic AI product builds across the full lifecycle — from requirement gathering and process mapping through deployment, hypercare, and continuous iteration; define and track performance metrics including accuracy rates, exception volumes, SLA adherence, and human handoff frequency to ensure products perform at the standard clients expect

Translate operational pain points from enterprise service lines into clear product requirements, agent logic, and workflow configurations; work directly alongside engineering and AI teams to build, test, and refine — staying close enough to the product to catch what looks right on paper but breaks in practice

Develop solid working knowledge of the service line your product serves — whether AP, R2R, Insurance, Banking, or equivalent — understanding how the work actually happens on the ground, where friction lives, where exceptions spike, and where intelligent agents can create the most meaningful operational impact

Run structured UAT cycles, identify failure patterns early, and drive resolution with speed and precision; maintain a sharp and honest feedback loop between what is deployed in production and what needs to improve in the next sprint

Act as the connective tissue between product, technology, delivery, and internal business stakeholders — synthesizing inputs from multiple directions into clear decisions, crisp communication, and forward momentum without letting coordination become a bottleneck

Participate in select client conversations as a product execution representative — supporting pilots, demos, and functional deep dives; contribute grounded product content to RFPs, solution narratives, and business cases without overpromising what the technology can deliver today

Build and maintain reusable assets including process maps, exception catalogues, workflow playbooks, and deployment decision logs that codify institutional knowledge and accelerate future builds across the team and broader GenpactNext portfolio

Mentor and support junior team members on product execution discipline, structured problem solving, and applied AI thinking within enterprise operations contexts

Extensive experience in product management, business analysis, or technology delivery within enterprise operations, BPS, GBS, or technology services environments — with a clear track record of taking AI, automation, or digital transformation products from concept through to live deployment

Demonstrated ability to work across the full product execution cycle — not just the ideation or strategy phase; someone who has written requirements, sat in build reviews, run UAT, managed go-live, and owned what happens after

Working knowledge of at least one enterprise service line — F&A, Insurance, Banking, Supply Chain, Procurement, or equivalent — sufficient to understand operational context, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and represent the domain credibly in product and client conversations

Strong analytical and structured thinking with a bias toward using data to make decisions — ability to interrogate agent outputs, identify where performance is drifting, and define what good looks like in measurable terms

Excellent communication and documentation skills across audiences — able to write a functional specification for an engineer, explain an exception handling logic to a delivery lead, and present a product update to a senior business stakeholder with equal clarity

Exposure to agentic AI platforms, LLM-based workflow tools, intelligent document processing, process mining, or RPA environments — either as a builder, a business owner, or a delivery partner closely involved in the technology implementation

Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the roadmap is still being written — someone who can structure a problem, make a reasonable call, and keep moving without waiting for perfect information or complete sign-off from above

Prior experience supporting client-facing conversations, pre-sales engagements, or solutioning discussions is an advantage — as is any exposure to working in a global, matrixed organization across multiple geographies and functions
