BusPas takes a ground-up , infrastructure-centric approach . We build a collaborative digital platform (ORA Ecosystem) that makes advanced data, AI tools, and programs affordable for municipalities and transit agencies through shared urban assets. This enables cost-effective digital transformation, real-time insights for transit optimization, passenger experience improvements, and scalable smart city foundations.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate Product Lead to lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for BusPas’s core offerings. You will drive the development and evolution of our smart urban infrastructure solutions, focusing on integrating edge AI, IoT sensors, and multimodal transit applications. This is a high-impact leadership role in a fast-growing startup, where you’ll shape products that directly contribute to smarter, greener, and more equitable cities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for BusPas’s ecosystem, including smart bus stops, edge AI applications, data platforms, and MaaS (Mobility as a Service) tools.

Collaborate closely with engineering, hardware, and design teams to prioritize features that integrate s ystem engineering principles for seamless hardware-software-system interoperability .

Lead user research, gather requirements from transit agencies , municipalities , and stakeholders to ensure solutions address real-world challenges like reducing bus delays , enhancing safety , optimizing multimodal flows , and supporting future automated vehicles.

Drive product launches, iterations, and scaling based on data insights , pilot feedback (e.g., from deployments in cities like Barcelona and New York), and market trends in smart cities .

Work cross-functionally to align product initiatives with business goals , including partnerships and solution with third party applications , and sustainable AI adoption .

Own KPIs around user adoption, system performance, data accuracy, and impact on transit ridership/sustainability metrics .

Stay ahead of the industry by analyzing market requirements and emerging trends in edge AI, IoT, and urban digital transformation.

Requirements

Drive, Passion and mission focused

5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Lead , ideally in smart city, transportation tech, IoT, edge AI, or related fields.

Strong systems engineering background with proven experience in integrating hardware (sensors, cameras, edge devices), software, and large-scale infrastructure systems.

Passion for public transit, multimodal mobility, sustainability , and building solutions that improve urban life.

Experience working in startup environments , with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive outcomes with limited resources.

Excellent communication skills to engage with technical teams, city officials, transit operators, and executives.

Familiarity with agile methodologies , user-centered design, and data-driven product decisions.

Bonus: Experience with AI/ML applications, computer vision , or deployments in public sector/municipal projects.

Nous recherchons un(e) Chef du Produit passionné(e) par l’innovation pour prendre les rênes de la stratégie produit et porter la vision des solutions phares de BusPas. Vous serez au cœur de l’action, en pilotant le développement et l’évolution de nos infrastructures urbaines intelligentes, à la croisée de l’edge AI, des capteurs IoT et de la mobilité multimodale.

Ce rôle vous permettra de contribuer activement à bâtir des villes plus intelligentes, plus durables et plus équitables, aujourd’hui et pour demain.

Responsabilités clés

Définir et exécuter la vision produit et la feuille de route de l’écosystème BusPas, incluant les arrêts de bus intelligents, les applications d’edge AI, les plateformes de données et les outils MaaS (Mobility as a Service).

Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de matériel (hardware) et de design afin de prioriser des fonctionnalités intégrant des principes d’ingénierie système pour assurer une interopérabilité fluide entre matériel, logiciel et systèmes.

Piloter la recherche utilisateur et recueillir les besoins des agences de transport, municipalités et parties prenantes afin de garantir que les solutions répondent à des défis concrets tels que la réduction des retards de bus, l’amélioration de la sécurité, l’optimisation des flux multimodaux et le soutien aux futurs véhicules automatisés.

Gérer les lancements de produits, les itérations et le passage à l’échelle à partir des données, des retours des projets pilotes (par exemple des déploiements dans des villes comme Barcelone et New York) et des tendances du marché des villes intelligentes.

Travailler de manière transversale pour aligner les initiatives produit avec les objectifs commerciaux, y compris les partenariats, les solutions avec des applications tierces et l’adoption durable de l’IA.
