Job Purpose:
The HPE Server Product Manager is responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and market share of the HPE Compute portfolio within the assigned territory. This role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle, including business planning, vendor engagement, pricing strategy, channel development, sales enablement, pipeline management, and go-to-market execution.
The Product Manager acts as the primary business interface between HPE, internal sales teams, presales, marketing, and channel partners to achieve revenue, margin, and market share objectives. The role will focus on HPE ProLiant Servers, HPE AI Solutions, HPE Compute Ops Management (COM), HPE GreenLake Compute, and related services.
Responsibilities:
- Own and achieve revenue, gross profit, and market share targets for the HPE Server portfolio.
- Develop annual business plans, quarterly execution strategies, and growth initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance and pipeline progression against business objectives.
- Drive profitability through pricing governance, deal management, and inventory optimization.
- Forecast sales, demand, and vendor funding requirements accurately.
- Vendor Relationship Management
- Act as the primary focal point between HPE and TD SYNNEX/Tec D.
- Conduct regular business reviews with HPE management and stakeholders.
- Secure vendor investments, rebates, MDF, and business development funds.
- Ensure alignment with HPE strategic initiatives and quarterly priorities.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution
- Develop and execute GTM programs to increase HPE server market share.
- Drive technology refresh campaigns, competitive replacement programs, and new logo acquisition initiatives.
- Develop industry-specific solutions and vertical market campaigns.
- Launch new products and support HPE strategic initiatives including AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Edge Computing.
- Channel Development
- Recruit, onboard, and develop strategic channel partners.
- Build partner capability through enablement, certification, and business planning.
- Conduct partner business reviews and joint account planning.
- Drive partner activation, sales productivity, and solution adoption.
- Sales Enablement and Opportunity Management
- Support sales teams in identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities.
- Lead pricing, bid management, promotions, and special pricing requests.
- Coordinate with presales teams on solution positioning, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
- Provide competitive intelligence and market insights.
- Marketing and Demand Generation
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns and customer engagement activities.
- Execute webinars, roadshows, workshops, executive briefings, and channel events.
- Manage MDF utilization and ROI measurement.
- Drive awareness of HPE Compute, AI, GreenLake, and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock holding.
- Manage backlog and supply constraints with HPE and operations teams.
- Ensure healthy inventory turnover and aging management.
- Collaborate with procurement on forecasting and purchasing activities.
- Reporting and Analytics
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
- Track revenue, margins, pipeline, partner productivity, and market trends.
- Present business updates to management and vendor stakeholders.
- Drive execution based on KPI measurements and business insights.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 4-6 years experience within IT distribution
- Minimum education level required is a Bachelor’s Degree
- Appropriate vendor product sales certifications
- Strong leadership attributes
- Self-starter

- Sound business acumen
- Ability to work with little direction
- Capacity to lead vertial teams
- Influence business outcomes without having direct control
