About the role

The part you'll play

We're seeking a Product Manager who can bring CMC expertise. As a Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for executing Docuvera’s product strategy, working closely with functional leads in Engineering, Sales, and Services to dive deep and solve customer pain points. Our customer-centric philosophy extends across everything we do. We work to translate customer, market, and business needs into clear, prioritised product requirements that guide the ongoing development of Docuvera’s services. Working closely with our customers and internal delivery teams, the role helps shape practical, user-focused solutions and supports their successful delivery through an iterative, agile approach.

Wrangling and defining context, checking scope and requirement, ensure problem statement and solution are building the platform.

Support the collection, assessment, and prioritization of customer requirements for future versions of Docuvera services.

Gather input from customer interactions, internal stakeholders, competitive analysis, and market research to inform product decisions.

Collaborate with Product Management peers to help define and refine the user experience for Docuvera services.

Assist in defining business and functional requirements for product enhancements (e.g., writing user stories or use cases).

Break larger product ideas into well-defined, incremental features that can be delivered iteratively.

Create and maintain product documentation, specifications, and planning artifacts as needed.

Work with engineers to review and validate user experience designs, including participating in usability testing.

Collaborate with our Tech and Engineering teams to support agile delivery, including backlog grooming and sprint planning.

Communicate product updates and feature details internally and, when appropriate, with customers and other external stakeholders.

Why it matters

You’ll know, and we’ll know, this role is successful when you consistently focus the team on what matters most: turning validated customer insight and clear business priorities into well-scoped, incremental product outcomes that reduce customer pain and move the business forward. Success looks like a prioritized roadmap and backlog that reflect strategic trade-offs, repeatable discovery and validation practices that reduce risk before build, crisp requirements engineering trusts, and reliable, timely releases that close customer pain points. Equally important is how you deliver: you build trust internally and externally, lift others, bring calm and clarity through change, and model the judgment and accountability we value.

What we'll expect of you

Your experience

You’ll bring 2–4 years of experience in Product Management, Associate Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role, with experience working on SaaS or enterprise software products, ideally in a customer-facing or cross-functional environment.

You’ll have hands-on experience gathering requirements through customer feedback, stakeholder collaboration, competitive analysis, or market research, and be able to translate user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and use cases. You’ll be familiar with agile or iterative development and working with engineering teams in a sprint-based environment, and bring experience and interest in using AI and automation in your work.

Exposure to workflow, search, collaboration, content management, data migration, or related enterprise services would be a plus, as would an interest or experience in life sciences, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.

Strong written and verbal communication skills will help you collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success, supported by a team-first mindset and confidence working with distributed or remote teams.

Your approach

A positive mindset wins every time. We expect you to have a positive, curious approach to your work, to take ownership of meaningful outcomes, and embrace new technologies. As we grow and build our AI capabilities across the business, the way we work will continue to evolve. Your willingness to learn, adapt, and work well with others will be central to our shared success.

With the flexibility and trust we offer comes responsibility, and we appreciate the willingness to connect with our global team as needed to make sure the job gets done.

Certifications desired

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience is desired but not required.

What you can expect working with us

Where we're based

Our team works across New Zealand, Asia, the UK, Europe and the United States. Our CEO is in the US, and the rest of our leadership team is spread between the US and New Zealand. You’ll find most of our technical teams in New Zealand and Asia, and most of our customer facing and sales teams in the US and Europe. That global mix is intentional and brings a wonderful range of experience and perspective.

Our style

We’re a down-to-earth bunch, where virtual doors are open, ideas are welcome and people are approachable. Working mostly remotely across time zones takes a some coordination, so we collaborate asynchronously , share information clearly and keep things moving even when we’re not online together.

The experience you can expect

We want our people to do meaningful work and keep growing their careers, in a place full of likeminded people. Since Docuvera is part of the ever-changing software industry, but with customers in the highly regulated pharma industry, there's no shortage of interesting technical challenges that have a significant customer impact.

The qualities or traits of our people which directly impacts our culture, performance, and how we get work done day to d ay are captured in these six words: Go-Getter, Torchbearer, Trailblazer, Shapeshifter, Elevator, and Steward.

Go-Getters and Torchbearers own it and deliver. They focus on what matters most, take initiative, and drive results without chasing perfection. They take accountability, communicate early, and act in the team’s best interests.

Trailblazers and Shapeshifters improve and adapt. They stay curious, challenge how things are done, and look for better ways forward. They approach change with positivity and calm, helping others find clarity and maintain momentum.

Elevators and Stewards lift others and lead by example. They listen, collaborate, and give credit where it’s due. Th
