Product Manager – Finance & Planning

Hyderabad (Hybrid) · Product · Full-time

About the role

Keka is India’s #1 HR and payroll platform, trusted by businesses across India and now expanding fast into the GCC and the US. More than 5,000 companies run their India and GCC payroll on Keka, and more are onboarding every week.

Finance & Planning is one of Keka’s most strategic squads. We own everything finance in HR tech: payroll, statutory compliance, expenses, employee loans, and future bets like equity management.

We’re hiring a Product Manager to own India & GCC Payroll and the finance products around it . You’ll make sure every payroll run is accurate and compliant across multiple countries. You’ll help us anticipate regulatory change instead of reacting to it, and build finance products that customers rely on and pay more for.

What makes this role unique

  • Own a core revenue engine: India & GCC Payroll is used by 5,000+ companies, and every release directly affects people getting paid correctly.
  • Get ahead of compliance: tax and statutory rules change constantly across India and the GCC. You’ll build the systems and practices that let us ship changes before customers notice them, not after.
  • Build new finance products: grow Expenses and Loans into products customers buy for their own sake, and help shape our next bets, such as equity management.
  • Build for multiple countries: design products for several countries’ tax, social-contribution and labour rules at once.
  • High ownership, high visibility: work closely with Product leadership, the CPO, Engineering and Design leaders, and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the India & GCC Payroll roadmap end to end: discovery, prioritisation, delivery and adoption.
  • Track tax and statutory changes across India and the GCC. Assess their impact and make sure they ship before their effective dates.
  • Drive configurable, scalable statutory logic so new rules become product settings, not engineering projects.
  • Own and grow Expenses and Loans, connecting them cleanly to payroll and to customers’ accounting systems.
  • Help shape future finance bets such as equity/ESOP management, working with design partners.
  • Talk regularly with customers’ finance, payroll and HR teams. Turn their workflows, pain points and compliance needs into clear product priorities.
  • Write clear PRDs and acceptance criteria, and work closely with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality, reliable features.
  • Work with CX, Implementation, Sales and Support to understand escalations, find root causes and fix recurring themes for good.
  • Define success metrics, track adoption and correctness, and keep improving based on data.

Who we are looking for

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience, with at least 2–3 years as a Product Manager in B2B SaaS.
  • Background in fintech, accounting or finance products preferred. Experience in tax, compliance or payroll products is also a strong fit.
  • A CA, CPA, CFA or finance degree, or exposure to GCC markets, is a bonus but not required.
