Are you passionate about building products that solve real customer problems at scale? Amazon is looking for a Product Manager III to define product vision, drive strategy, and deliver meaningful outcomes that improve the customer experience. In this role, you will own the full product lifecycle — from identifying opportunities and defining requirements through launch and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with engineering, design, science, and business teams to build products that delight customers while driving measurable business results. If you thrive in ambiguity, love working backward from customer needs, and want to shape products used by millions, this is the role for you.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • - Define and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap, making transparent tradeoffs to optimize the sequence of deliverables and timelines while aligning with long-term business goals.
  • - Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, science, marketing, and operations partners to deliver products from concept through launch and post-launch optimization.
  • - Analyze usage data, performance metrics, customer behavior, and market trends to inform decisions, define success criteria and KPIs, and prioritize roadmap investments that maximize customer and business impact.
  • - Engage directly with customers and leverage research, usability studies, and feedback channels to distinguish between surface-level requests and underlying problems, ensuring the product stays grounded in genuine customer understanding.
  • - Evaluate and integrate generative AI tools and capabilities where appropriate to accelerate development cycles, improve decision-making, and unlock new forms of product innovation.
  • A day in the life
  • You start your morning reviewing key product metrics and customer feedback to identify emerging patterns. By mid-morning, you are leading a roadmap review with your engineering and design partners, working through tradeoffs and aligning on priorities for the next sprint. After lunch, you might join a customer research session to observe how users interact with your product, then translate those insights into refined requirements. Later, you connect with cross-functional stakeholders to build alignment on an upcoming launch plan and ensure operational readiness.

At Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that truly matters. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.

  • About the team

We operate with a collaborative, inclusive culture where every voice matters and new ideas are encouraged. We believe that great products come from deeply understanding customer needs and pairing that understanding with technical creativity. As we look ahead, we are investing in new capabilities and expanding our impact, making this an exciting time to join and help shape what comes next.

Basic qualifications

  • - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • - Experience with end to end product delivery
  • - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • - Experience as a product manager or owner
  • - Experience owning technology products

Preferred qualifications

  • - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • - Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
