Product Manager (m/f/d) - Coding & Marking Equipment

Product Manager (m/f/d) – Coding & Marking Equipment
Your tasks:
- Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap for coding & marking equipment in line with company strategy, market trends and customer requirements.
- Translate market needs into clear, prioritized product requirements and collaborate with System Engineering, R&D and Project Management to turn them into concrete developments.
- Steer the lifecycle of existing products (positioning, pricing, differentiation, cost and quality improvements, obsolescence management, phase-out).
- Monitor competitors, market trends and identify areas for differentiation or improvement.
- Collect and formalize product requirements, build business cases and present proposals in governance bodies.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, System Engineering and Project Management to ensure product requirements are translated into technical solutions.
- Support Sales and distributors with product expertise and training.
- Define and monitor KPIs of your portfolio performance, prepare regular product line reviews and contribute to process improvements.
- Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing with strong technical affinity
- 5+ years of experience in product management in an industrial B2B environment
- Proven track record managing product lifecycle (roadmap, launches, improvements, phase-outs)
- Strong understanding of product development processes and business case analysis
- Basic marketing knowledge (segmentation, positioning, competitive analysis)
- Knowledge and practices of AI tools is an asset
- Skilled in ERP/CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; customer-oriented and analytical
- Fluent in English; proactive and results-driven
- Based in Tuttlingen; occasional travel possible
