Product Manager – Machine Control (Excavation)

Remote – Italy | Up to 25% International Travel

At Topcon Positioning Systems , we're helping transform the construction industry through advanced machine control, GNSS positioning, automation, and digital solutions. We're looking for an experienced Global Product Manager – Excavation Solutions to drive the strategy and development of our next generation of excavator machine control technologies.

This is more than a Product Management role. You'll influence product strategy on a global scale, collaborate with international teams, and turn customer challenges into innovative solutions used on construction sites around the world.

What You'll Do

As part of our Global Product Platform team, you'll:

• •Define and execute the product roadmap for Topcon's Excavation product portfolio.
• •Work closely with customers, dealers, and industry partners to understand market needs and identify new opportunities.
• •Act as the key interface between Engineering, Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
• •Translate customer insights into product requirements and development priorities.
• •Lead new product introductions and support products throughout their lifecycle.
• •Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• •Analyze product performance, profitability, and business opportunities.
• •Support pricing strategies and portfolio optimization.
• •Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product delivery worldwide.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with commercial vision.

Ideally, you'll have:

• •Experience in Product Management or a similar strategic role.
• •Background in construction technology, machine control, excavation, surveying, heavy equipment, or civil engineering.
• •Experience working with customers and distribution networks.
• •Strong analytical and business planning skills.
• •Knowledge of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies.
• •Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• •The ability to influence cross-functional international teams.
• •A proactive, customer-focused, and innovative mindset.
• •Fluency in English.
