The role contributes to customer experience, portfolio performance, and sustainable P&L outcomes by helping the business execute effectively and making better-informed decisions. This includes identifying operational pain points and root causes, improving processes and controls, and using data, automation, and technology to reduce manual effort, strengthen service levels, and address recurring customer and frontline issues.

Success requires strong analytical and technical skills, sound product judgment, and a hands-on approach to execution. The Product Manager will work closely with partners across Frontline, Operations, Technology, Digital, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Analytics, Marketing, and other product teams to deliver practical improvements that support customers, employees, portfolio economics, and long-term business performance.

Key Accountabilities

· Coordinate pricing changes across governance, approvals, system implementation, communication, validation, and post-implementation monitoring.

· Develop business cases and executive-ready recommendations that clearly articulate customer, financial, operational, and risk impacts.

Reporting, Analytics & Automation

· Develop and enhance recurring reporting, dashboards, and management information for portfolio performance, pricing, risk, service levels, and escalations.

· Use advanced Excel, SQL or similar data-querying skills, and visualization tools such as Power BI to analyze data and generate actionable insights.

· Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, automation, and self-serve access to information for the Savings team and key partners.

· Use Microsoft Power Automate and related tools to streamline manual workflows, notifications, approvals, tracking, and recurring team processes.

· Establish clear metrics and monitoring to measure whether process and capability improvements are reducing effort, escalation volume, and turnaround times.

Operational Excellence & Escalation Management

· Support the effective management of complex Savings customer and frontline issues requiring product, policy, pricing, process, or system expertise.

· Coordinate investigation and resolution with frontline, operations, technology, risk, and other partners, while maintaining clear ownership, communication, and appropriate customer and business outcomes.

· Use operational data, service-level performance, customer feedback, and recurring issue themes to identify root causes and broader improvement opportunities.

· Support sustainable improvements through process redesign, automation, clearer policies, stronger controls, frontline guidance, training, or system enhancements.

· Build feedback loops and reporting that demonstrate improvements in operational efficiency, service levels, issue prevention, and customer and employee experiences.

Frontline Relationship Management

· Build strong relationships with branch, contact centre, digital, and operational partners to understand pain points and improve how Savings products are supported and serviced.

· Provide clear product guidance and support the development of frontline communications, job aids, procedures, and training materials.

· Create structured channels for frontline feedback and use insights to inform product, policy, process, and capability improvements.

· Represent the Savings product team in operational forums and ensure frontline impacts are considered in business decisions.

· Experience translating business and operational needs into requirements, process improvements, controls, reporting, or technology-enabled solutions.

· Experience working with large or complex datasets and investigating data, process, or system issues.

Technical Skills

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, data validation, data modelling, Power Query, and automation; VBA or macro experience is an asset.

· Working knowledge of SQL or another data-querying or programming language, with the ability to extract, reconcile, analyze, and validate data.

· Hands-on experience creating dashboards and visual reporting using Microsoft Power BI or a comparable business intelligence tool.
