Do you have the commercial mindset, technical curiosity and customer focus to turn innovative technology into scalable products and services ? As Product Manager – Service Development, you will play a key role in bringing new automated coating application solutions to market.

This is your opportunity to play a key role in bringing new automated coating application solutions from development and testing to market.
You will manage the go-to-market process for new service developments, understand customer needs, identify commercial opportunities, and translate market and technical insights into products, services and partnership models that can be validated and scaled.
Working closely with colleagues across Service Development, R&D, Sales, Marketing and regional commercial teams, as well as shipyards, vessel owners, robotics suppliers and other technology partners, you will connect technology, customer needs and commercial execution .
The role is based in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark , with travel as required to meet customers, partners and project teams.
What Will Your Key Responsibilities Include?
Drive go-to-market for new services – Develop value propositions, target segments, launch priorities and commercial readiness plans for new automated coating application solutions.
Build strategic customer and technology partnerships – Develop and maintain relationships with selected shipyards, vessel owners, robotics suppliers, technology partners and other relevant stakeholders to create opportunities for trials, validation and future business.
Bridge technical solutions and customer needs – Understand customer technical requirements, assess product and solution configurations, and translate technical opportunities into clear commercial propositions.
Support technical and commercial sales activities – Prepare technical sales briefings, support customer discussions, and provide input to proposals, pricing, resource requirements and implementation considerations.
Drive cross-functional execution – Work closely with R&D, Service Development, Sales, Marketing, Finance and regional teams to coordinate trials, customer feedback, business cases and commercial implementation.
Turn innovation into scalable solutions – Evaluate customer and market feedback and help ensure that new technologies, including robotics science, develop into practical and commercially viable services.
You will play an important role in connecting our innovation activities with customers and the market, helping ensure that promising technology translates into tangible customer and business value .
Have You Got What We're Looking For?
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Robotics, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics Science, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field . A background in marine technology, industrial automation, or robotics applications is an advantage.
5–10 years of experience in product management, business development, technical sales, strategic partnerships, key account management, or commercial project management.
Strong commercial understanding combined with the ability to engage with technical products, solutions and customer requirements.
Experience working with customers and partners in the marine, coatings, shipyard, robotics science, industrial technology or related sectors is an advantage.
Experience with go-to-market planning, customer validation, technical proposals or commercialization of new solutions.
Ability to translate technical concepts and customer needs into commercially relevant solutions.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in English. Mandarin and/or additional relevant languages are an advantage.
