About the role
We are looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager to shape how Plaud’s software and AI products are understood, launched, and adopted around the world.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, AI, and Marketing. You will develop a deep understanding of how Plaud’s products work, identify the customer value behind their technical capabilities, and turn that understanding into compelling product stories, launch strategies, and customer-facing content.
At Plaud, product marketing has three dimensions:
Strategist: Define the audience, value proposition, positioning, product narrative, and go-to-market architecture.
Writer: Create the foundational messaging and critical content from which global and regional teams build.
Orchestrator: Coordinate cross-functional teams and channels to bring a cohesive product story to market.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role with significant ownership. You will not simply receive a finished strategy and execute against it. You will investigate the product, develop the strategy, write the essential materials, and guide the work through launch.
What you will own
Product understanding and technical translation
Develop a detailed understanding of Plaud’s software, AI systems, developer capabilities, and their connection to Plaud hardware.
Partner closely with Product, AI, Engineering, and Design to understand product architecture, technical documentation, roadmap decisions, and feature behavior.
Identify valuable capabilities and use cases that may not yet have been translated into customer-facing stories.
Turn technical functionality, specifications, and AI concepts into clear customer benefits without losing accuracy or substance.
Develop product FAQs, feature explanations, demo narratives, and technical education materials.
Positioning and product storytelling
Define target audiences, customer problems, value propositions, positioning, message houses, use cases, and product narratives.
Build the foundational messaging for products including Plaud Intelligence, Plaud Teams, Plaud developer, etc.
Connect Plaud’s hardware, software, and AI capabilities into one cohesive customer experience and narrative.
Establish clear messaging hierarchies that global and regional teams can adapt to their audiences and channels.
Maintain the accuracy, clarity, consistency, and quality of product messaging across the customer journey.
Go-to-market strategy and orchestration
Own the go-to-market architecture for new software products, AI capabilities, and major feature releases.
Define launch objectives, audiences, messaging, channel roles, critical assets, dependencies, rollout plans, and success measures.
Coordinate Product, AI, Creative, Growth, Communications, Sales, Support, and regional teams throughout the launch process.
Create the global toolkits and foundational assets that enable regional teams to activate launches locally.
Review execution across channels and ensure the product story remains accurate and coherent from strategy through activation.
Operate effectively across multiple launches and adapt quickly as product priorities evolve.
Foundational content and enablement
Personally write or directly own critical product-marketing deliverables, including messaging frameworks, launch briefs, product pages, feature descriptions, FAQs, internal briefs, blogs, and campaign narratives.
Partner with Creative and channel owners to turn the core product story into landing pages, videos, visuals, demonstrations, and campaign assets.
Build product training, enablement decks, competitive guidance, and objection-handling materials for Marketing, Sales, Support, and regional teams.
Give cross-functional partners the context, standards, and tools needed to communicate Plaud’s products effectively.
Insight and continuous improvement
Gather feedback from customers, product data, sales conversations, support teams, reviews, and regional partners.
Synthesize technical, customer, and market inputs into actionable recommendations.
Monitor competitors and emerging AI and productivity behaviors to identify narrative, product, and go-to-market opportunities.
Use launch results and customer feedback to improve positioning, content, product education, and future go-to-market programs.
Bring relevant market insights back to Product and AI teams to help inform roadmap decisions.
What success looks like
In your first 12 months, you will have:
Built strong technical fluency across Plaud’s software and AI portfolio.
Established clear, differentiated positioning for priority software and AI products.
Identified and communicated valuable technical capabilities that were previously difficult for customers to understand.
Led the strategy and cross-functional orchestration of major product or feature launches.
Created a repeatable system for turning product inputs into global messaging, foundational content, regional activation, and post-launch learning.
Improved the accuracy and consistency of Plaud’s product story across channels.
Become a trusted partner to Product, AI, Engineering, Creative, Growth, and regional teams.
Contributed measurably to product understanding, activation, adoption, retention, or revenue.
What we are looking for
We are open to more than one career path. You may be:
A technical product marketer with prior experience in engineering, product management, developer marketing, solutions engineering, or another technical role; or
A strong product marketer and writer who has a technical academic background, meaningful hands-on technical experience, or demonstrated technical fluency through independent projects.
Regardless of your path, you should bring:
4+ years of relevant experience across product marketing, product management, technical marketing, engineering, developer relations, solutions engineering, or related roles.
Demonstrated ownership of meaningful projects from an ambiguous starting point through delivery.
The ability and curiosity to read technical documentation, understand how a product works, and engage credibly with Product, AI, and Engineering teams.
Excellent English writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex ideas clear, structured, and compel
