  • The Opportunity
  • Join Micromine in Brazil as a Product Specialist, Mine Planning (OP), supporting customers across LATAM using our open-pit mine planning solution. This is an opportunity to combine operational mining expertise with customer-facing consulting, helping mining companies unlock greater value from their planning processes while expanding your influence across diverse projects, operations and industry stakeholders.

The Impact you’ll have

  • Help mining operations improve planning outcomes through innovative technology solutions.
  • Become a trusted advisor to customers across a range of open-pit mining environments.
  • Influence software adoption by connecting technical capability with business value.
  • Build long-term partnerships that strengthen customer success and loyalty.
  • Contribute directly to product evolution through user feedback and market insights.
  • Expand your industry exposure through travel, collaboration and regional engagement.

What you need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in open-pit mine planning and scheduling.
  • Operational mine site experience within mining environments.
  • Experience using general-purpose mining software applications.
  • Professional fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong customer engagement skills with a consultative and collaborative approach.
