Production Assembler - 1st Shift

Role Responsibilities:

• •Ability to understand basic math, read and follow applicable work instructions
• •Ability to work (both sitting and standing for periods of time) in a standard rotation
• •Completes work with quality in mind, minimum errors, rework, and waste.
• •Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to detect non-conforming product.
• •Records data in a timely and accurate manner
• •Works efficiently and at a rate consistent with the rotations and goals set for the area.
• •Provide support or back-up duties in other work areas when requested
• •Assist in training of others, as requested
• •Actively support the site’s Continuous Improvement programs
• •Adheres to all EHS policies and procedures, wears proper PPE.
• •Participates in safety activities when requested and reports injury or illness promptly.
• •Follow ergonomic principles in setting up workstation and chair height, positioning parts, job rotation, and participating in the scheduled stretching periods.
• •Follow all company policies, specifically those relating to attendance and general behavior

Minimum Qualifications :

• •High school diploma/GED preferred
• •A minimum of one (1) year of light assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• •Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good working relationships
• •Consistent attendance and punctuality
• •Perform a variety of tasks safely though the day

Physical Requirements:

• •Manual dexterity is required to handle small parts
• •o Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• •o Must be able to stand and sit for periods of time
• •o The ability to handle daily repetitive work using hands and fingers
