Production Assistant - Seasonal PT

KTLA is looking for a Production Assistant to work on our Emmy Award-winning live coverage of the Rose Parade. PA with a can-do attitude will work directly with Production Coordinator and APOC for all their needs, including script book assembly, camera cards, research and clerical, and any other related tasks.

Responsibilities

• •Will assist Production Coordinator and APOC in all clerical tasks and duties.
• •Will assemble float tour books, script books and camera cards.
• •Will work on files in OneDrive, including rundown, production schedules, scripts, camera cards, etc.
• •Perform clerical duties to support the show.
• •Provide telephone coverage.
• •Will work on the live event on location in Pasadena.
• •Position is temporary December to January.

Requirements

• •Must have experience in live television, scripted or related field
• •Must be extremely proficient in administrative tasks and on a PC - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and OneDrive are a must.
• •Knowledge of live show rundowns and scripts a plus.
• •Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail and handle a lot on their plate all at once
• •Superb organizational and time management skills
• •Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints
• •Talent for anticipating needs
• •Excellent written and verbal communications; professional telephone etiquette AVAILABLE: Immediately

Compensation $20/hr.+ - commensurate with experience and skill level
