Job Description

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Production Associate in our Lancaster, PA location.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

The ideal candidate will Produces heat pipe assemblies for internal and external customers using semi-automated equipment following proper procedures and techniques administered from engineering department using work instructions. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality and precision of components used in aerospace and defense applications. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will have a direct impact on our operational success and customer satisfaction

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• •Ability to read and understand detailed work instructions and basic math skills.
• •Perform repetitive motion activities daily.
• •Works at different workstations as production needs require. Clean Parts using Crest Workstation.
• •Work in the Production area.

Preferred:

• •High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with no prior related experience and/or training necessary.
• •Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the company.
• •Basic Math skills are required including Addition, Subtraction, Division and Multiplication.
• •Ability to apply common sense and to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• •Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to feel sharp edges on Parts. The employee frequently is required to reach, stand and Lift parts and communicate with members of the Machining and QC departments.
