Production Associate - 1st Shift

Montrose, CO | $17.50 - $19.00/hr | Contract to Hire

Mural Group is partnering with a global specialty chemical and materials manufacturer to hire a Production Associate for their Montrose, Colorado facility. This is an entry-level production role open to candidates from any manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial background. If you show up, work hard, and follow the process, there is a clear path to grow here.

The Schedule

Monday through Thursday. 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Done by 4:30 every day, every Friday off, every weekend three days long. If you are looking for a production job that actually gives you your weekends back, this is it.

What You Will Be Doing

Stage and weigh ingredients to recipe specifications for production batches

Set up and operate weigh-up and packaging machinery following safety procedures

Process, package, and skid finished material per customer specifications

Support production operators with materials and supplies to keep equipment running

Complete required production paperwork and batch documentation accurately

Perform machine cleaning and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the shift

Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements - safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and area-specific gear

What We Are Looking For

High school diploma or GED

Some experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, or industrial environment - this is entry level and we are not requiring a specific background

Active forklift license (or ability to obtain one)

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly throughout a 10-hour shift

Reliable transportation to the Montrose facility

Dependable attendance - this matters more than anything else on this list
