Production Associate - Thinset - 1st shift (6 am -2:30 pm) & 3rd shift (10 pm - 6:30 am)

Job: Production Associate I - Thinset Plant

Reports To: Shift Supervisor/Plant Manager

Salary: Starts at $19.50

Shift Differential for 3rd shift : $2.00/hour

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• •Operate Mixing and Packaging Equipment in a Safe and Productive Manner
• •Understand production standards and perform quality inspection of product as required.
• •Input Data for production reporting.
• •Adjust HMI for the bagging machines.
• •Make product changeovers as needed, including bag film, chemicals, pallets and slip sheets.
• •Communicate with Supervisor on Safety, Quality, and Production issues.
• •Comply with occupational safety regulations including LO/TO
• •Use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• •Maintain good housekeeping on production floor.
• •Report any spills or Hazards to Supervisor
• •Report any safety issues to Supervisor.
• •Maintain chemical hopper levels.
• •Trouble shoot equipment to keep operational.
• •Performs tasks related to machine cleaning and minor preventative maintenance repairs as directed.
• •Operate a forklift safely storing finished goods and retrieving raw materials.
• •Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities

• •1-3 years of experience as a machine operator in an industrial environment preferred.
• •Computer Competency
• •Mechanical Aptitude
• •Above average Math Skills
• •Familiar with operation of automated production equipment
• •Ability to lift 50 lbs. and utilize material handling equipment.
• •Forklift experience with safe driving record required
• •Team Player works well with others.
