POSITION OVERVIEW

Central Church is seeking a Production Coordinator to bring consistent, excellent production to our Saturday night service, Sunday night College service, and our groups ministry gatherings. This role owns the production experience for our groups ministry gatherings, coordinates production for ad hoc events, and supports the Weekend Service and Production team with day-to-day administration.

You will lead live production for Saturday night and Sunday night services, lead and develop volunteer teams, and move comfortably between the worship center and smaller, changing production setups. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves both the technical side of production and the people who make it happen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Weekend services

Lead on-site execution of the Saturday night service, carrying out the production strategy set by the Weekend Service Director and the Production team.

Serve as primary production coverage for the Sunday night College service.

Deliver a consistent sound and production experience week to week.

Ministry events

Own production for our groups ministry gatherings: B2 (Young Adults), Woven, and Forged each meet once a month for worship and service.

Coordinate production for ad hoc events and special gatherings as they arise.

Volunteer teams

Recruit, schedule, train, and lead production volunteers for the services and gatherings you own.

Build a culture of excellence and care on the team; develop volunteers toward greater responsibility.

Administration and coordination

Carry administrative work for the Weekend Service and Production team: scheduling, planning documents, run sheets, and follow-up.

Coordinate timelines, gear, and setup needs across multiple ministries and rooms.

Maintain and care for production equipment across the spaces you serve.

Help with staging, setup, and keeping production spaces and storage organized.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Some live audio experience in a live service or event setting.

Familiarity with production systems (audio, lighting, video, and planning tools).

Comfortable leading volunteer teams and giving clear, kind direction under time pressure.

Comfortable in changing production environments, from the worship center to portable and multipurpose spaces.

Skilled or developing in project management: able to plan ahead, track details, and coordinate multiple events at once.

Available to work the schedule above, including Saturday and Sunday.

A growing relationship with Jesus and alignment with the mission and values of

Central Church.

Preferred

Touring, road, or event experience with live sound and stage production.

Working knowledge of lighting, video, or broadcast in addition to audio.

Experience in a church or multi-ministry production environment.

WHO YOU ARE

Steady when things change, and a calm presence for volunteers and ministry leaders.

Organized and proactive; you see what needs to happen next and get it moving.

A team player who cares about the people in the room as much as the mix.
