This role is critical to ensuring our vehicles are produced on time, at the right cost, and to the highest quality standards as we scale production.

This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of production planning, supplier management, purchasing, and manufacturing operations. You’ll serve as the central point of accountability for production, working closely with our engineering and quality teams, manufacturing partners, and overseas-based resources to keep production on track.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end production planning and execution, ensuring manufacturing milestones, schedules, and delivery targets are met.

Coordinate contract manufacturers and internal teams to ensure material readiness and production schedules remain on track.

Coordinate directly with key component sub-suppliers to keep critical spare parts and accessories in stock.

Manage purchasing, purchase orders, supplier lead times, and production-related logistics.

Identify and proactively resolve production bottlenecks, supplier delays, and operational risks.

Build and manage overseas-based manufacturing support resources, establishing clear accountability and effective communication.

Track production progress, maintain clear reporting, and escalate critical issues to leadership.

Develop scalable production management processes and systems to support increasing manufacturing volumes.

Partner with engineering and quality teams to coordinate technical changes, production readiness, and manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in production management, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or related roles.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple suppliers, stakeholders, and timelines.

Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers and supply chains.

Strong understanding of production planning, purchasing, supplier management, and manufacturing processes.

Experience leading teams or coordinating external resources across different locations and time zones.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, and solving problems independently in a fast-moving environment.

Experience in consumer electronics, electric vehicles, automotive, or other hardware manufacturing preferred.

Willingness to travel internationally, including to manufacturing partners overseas.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor an employment visa for this role.
