Production Planner

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Production Planner at MSD Korea, you will partner with Production, Procurement, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities while ensuring material availability and efficient capacity utilization. In this role, you will report to the SCM Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• •Developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
• •Coordinating with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials are available according to production schedules.
• •Monitoring labor loading and capacity requirements to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• •Working closely with Production, Engineering, Sales, and other stakeholders to address schedule changes, material shortages, and production constraints.
• •Supporting production plan adjustments in response to demand fluctuations, design changes, and operational priorities.
• •Analyzing production performance and providing recommendations to improve planning accuracy, resource utilization, and on-time delivery performance.
• •Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel may be required.

Skills You Bring:

• •Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in planning, coordinating and scheduling production operations required.
• •0-1 year of related experience required.
• •Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production and demand data.
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• •Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• •Experience in labor capacity planning within a manufacturing environment.
• •Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other ERP/MRP systems.
• •Understanding of forecasting, inventory control, and production planning methodologies.
• •Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or supply chain environment.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• •Physical Demand 1: Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
• •Physical Demand 2: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
• •Working Condition 1: Operates in a professional office and manufacturing environment.
• •Working Condition 2: Regular use of a computer and other office productivity equipment.
• •Working Condition 3: Ability to observe documents and details at close range.
• •Working Condition 4: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment while working around manufacturing equipment and utilities.
• •Working Condition 5: Noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
