- Salaried | Onsite | Night Shift 2 (N2)
- 4:30 p.m.–4:45 a.m. | 2-2-3 rotation
Lead people. Solve problems. Help your team succeed.
We’re looking for a Production Supervisor who builds trust, sets clear expectations, and stays involved on the production floor. You’ll lead our N2 team across several departments, with line leads and production team members reporting directly to you.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll own shift performance across your assigned departments—from safety and food quality to staffing, production results, and team development. This role calls for someone who can balance competing priorities, make sound decisions, and support people through the challenges of a busy manufacturing shift.
What you’ll lead
People and team development
- Provide direction and support to line leads and production team members across multiple departments.
- Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate priorities, and ensure each department understands the plan.
- Coach performance, recognize contributions, address concerns, and hold team members accountable fairly and consistently.
- Complete performance reviews, attendance tracking, and disciplinary documentation in partnership with HR.
- Support onboarding, cross-training, and skill development so team members are prepared to succeed.
Safety, quality, and food safety
- Maintain a visible floor presence, reinforce safe work practices, and respond promptly to hazards.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, allergen control, and Good Manufacturing Practices are followed.
- Verify line readiness, required checks, and documentation.
- Investigate incidents and recurring concerns, coordinate corrective actions, and follow through on resolution.
Production and continuous improvement
- Coordinate staffing, materials, and daily priorities to meet the production schedule.
- Monitor output, equipment effectiveness, downtime, scrap, and waste; adjust plans as conditions change.
- Work with Maintenance, Quality, and Sanitation to resolve issues and keep operations moving safely.
- Use production data and team feedback to identify recurring losses and implement practical improvements.
- Ensure accurate shift reports and clear handoffs, including outstanding concerns and next steps.
What you’ll bring
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of leadership experience in manufacturing; food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods experience is preferred.
- An understanding of food safety, quality standards, and production performance measures.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- The ability to prioritize across multiple departments while remaining approachable and responsive.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English to communicate expectations, follow procedures, and complete documentation.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, production reporting tools, and manufacturing systems.
Your leadership matters

Schedule and work environment
This position works Night Shift 2, 4:30 p.m.–4:45 a.m., on a 2-2-3 rotation , including scheduled weekends and holidays.

The role includes lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds and working around machinery, varying temperatures, and elevated noise levels. Required protective equipment and food safety practices apply.
