Role Overview:

Huntsman has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join its operations team at the Wilton site, within the Polyurethanes division. Operating in a COMAH‑regulated Nitrobenzene and Aniline facility , this role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production to meet quality and business requirements.

This is a hands‑on, plant‑based position for individuals who value safety, teamwork, and operational discipline in a structured industrial environment.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for:

• •Operate plant and process equipment safely, efficiently, and in line with all site procedures and environmental standards
• •Take responsibility for the operation and isolation of equipment within the assigned area
• •Monitor processes, record operational data, and respond to abnormal conditions or alarms
• •Carry out first‑line troubleshooting and support safe start‑ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• •Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance at all times
• •Proactively identify equipment or process deficiencies, support root cause analysis, and contribute to corrective actions
• •Escalate issues appropriately and work collaboratively with Shift Managers, Engineers, and other functions
• •Actively support continuous improvement and shared learning across the site

Experience and Competencies:

We are looking for experienced candidates with:

• •Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant technical or vocational discipline
• •Experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or process‑based industry is strongly preferred
• •Trade skills or prior experience in COMAH or highly regulated environments are advantageous
• •Comfortable working shifts and operating within a unionised, pay‑for‑job framework
