- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- 1. Test and troubleshoot microprocessor-based products to component level with minimal guidance.
- 2. Provide technical support to engineering and manufacturing.
- 3. Provide troubleshooting training to junior department personnel.
- 4. Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL products and processes to ensure product quality and integrity.
- 5. Implement department objectives under direction of immediate supervisor.
- 6. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
- 7. Understand. Create. Simplify.
- 8. Other duties as assigned.
- Required Qualifications
- Two-year degree in Industrial Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years experience in electronic design, manufacturing, or testing
- Knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- Proficient technical writing, documentation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, judgment, and organizational skill
- Good technical training and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel, Access
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)
- Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of structured programming
- Advanced computer program skills: Word, Excel, Access
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives
