Production (Utility Helper)

Description

Fitesa is a global leader in nonwoven fabric solutions, specializing in providing innovative fabrics the hygiene, medical, and industrial markets. Our Washougal, WA Union facility has an excellent opportunity for a Production Associate (Utility Helper) to join the team.

Requirements

This position is responsible for providing assistance to the production line as needed.

• •Making heads
• •Providing down day supplies
• •Material Handling of finished product rolls
• •Repackaging and repairing product rolls for shipment
• •Cutting cores, performing resin duties and transporting materials

Additional Responsibilities:

• •General facility clean up
• •Machinery cleaning such as screens and filters
• •Trash removal

Educational Requirements and Experience:

• •High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• •3 to 5 Years in a Manufacturing environment highly preferred
• •Non-Woven Experience a plus
• •Must be willing and able to work shift work - 8 hr shifts. Rotating shift work - Days, Graveyard, Swing
• •Willingness and ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required

Physical Requirements:

• •Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
• •Stand and walk for extended periods
• •Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• •Work around varying temperatures
• •Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus
