Program Coordinator - TQP Grant

The Stout School of Education at High Point University invites applications for a 12-month, full-time position to serve as Program Coordinator for the TQP grant. The position is federally grant-funded for five years beginning October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2031. This position reports to the Director of the TQP Grant and the Dean of the Stout School of Education. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Facilitating communication among the university school district partners;

Marketing, promoting, and recruiting for the aspiring teachers and principals such that program activities are sustainable after the grant funding expires;

Planning and coordinating meetings and events for aspiring teachers and principals;

Monitoring student success and progress throughout the program of study;

Processing budgetary requests and purchase orders through the university’s procurement system;

Managing program operations at the request of the Director of the TQP Grant;

Working with an external evaluator to collect, analyze, and report out on program effectiveness data; and,

Maintaining program information on the school’s website.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Licensure

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field.

Experience and Training

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of successful full-time work experience

Candidates who have experience managing programs or projects with quantifiable impacts are preferred

Candidates who have experience working with federal grant programs are preferred

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Online Learning Management Systems (BlackBoard, Canvas, Moodle)

Virtual Meeting Tools (Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet)
