Job Description

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Program Delivery Lead to champion end-to-end delivery of secure cloud platform capabilities for the program. This role owns program execution, client relationships, and delivery outcomes — serving as the primary interface between government stakeholders and a delivery team of engineers, architects, and agile practitioners. You'll shape delivery processes, establish governance rhythms, and grow the program as mission demand expands, combining program management discipline with a consultative, relationship-first approach.

Program delivery from planning through execution — scope, schedule, staffing, risk, and financial performance

The client relationship with government program leadership, including status reporting, program reviews, and contract deliverable management

Delivery standards — quality gates, documentation discipline, and audit-ready compliance artifacts

Cross-functional delivery teams operating in a SAFe Lean-Agile model

Team member development, through clear expectations and structured feedback that helps people grow into greater ownership

Program growth — translating emerging mission needs into scoped, executable work

What You'll Deliver

Commitments that land on time, or get surfaced early enough for the customer to act on the risk

Documented delivery standards and audit-ready compliance artifacts that hold up under government review

Accurate program reporting — status, financials, and reviews delivered to government stakeholders on schedule

A delivery team operating effectively within SAFe Lean-Agile practices

Scoped growth opportunities that translate mission need into executable work

Here's What You Need

7+ years of program/project management experience, including 3+ years in federal contracting environments

Demonstrated experience leading agile software or cloud delivery teams (SAFe, Scrum, or equivalent)

Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure delivery, DevSecOps practices, and federal security frameworks (NIST RMF, STIG, ATO) at a program management level

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

PMP or SAFe certification, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience delivering in highly regulated, security-sensitive government environments

Experience growing a program from initial award through expansion

Familiarity with MBSE (model-based systems engineering) and earned value management

Experience operating in classified or multi-network government environments

Security Requirements

Active TS clearance required; SCI preferred

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $120,400 — $234,700 USD
