Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of Program Management – APAC Mobility, the Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and driving the end-to-end delivery of program streams, business initiatives, and key customer implementations across the regional APAC Mobility portfolio.

This role combines hands-on delivery rigor with strong cross-functional coordination, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, milestones are met on schedule, and stakeholder commitments are achieved to support business retention and growth.

Operating across Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Support, the Program Manager translates business needs into structured delivery plans, manages risks and interdependencies proactively, and delivers consistent, transparent communications across all working groups and project sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

A. Program & Project Delivery

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple concurrent projects and moderate-scale program streams using suitable project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to clarify scope, milestones, success metrics, and operational deliverables.
  • Build and maintain integrated project schedules, tracking critical path items, task dependencies, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor delivery progression against agreed baselines, ensuring execution remains on schedule, within defined scope, and aligned with budget allocations.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and blockers, managing formal change requests when scope or timelines shift.
  • Prepare and facilitate recurring governance meetings, status checkpoints, and working group reviews.
  • Coordinate technical and operational workstreams to successfully configure, test, integrate, and deploy customer-facing and internal mobility solutions.
  • Ensure deliverables satisfy statement of work (SOW) commitments, operational readiness criteria, and customer satisfaction goals.

B. Stakeholder & Customer Coordination

  • Establish reliable, collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members, regional managers, and key external customer leads.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for project communications, progress updates, and operational coordination.
  • Produce clear, structured status reports, project dashboards, and summary decks tailored to project sponsors and steering committees.
  • Manage expectations transparently, identify delivery bottlenecks early, and escalate blocking issues with clear resolution pathways.
  • Partner with Sales and Solution Engineering during late-stage deal finalization to ensure smooth handover from pre-sales into delivery execution.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Customer Support teams to execute structured operational handover and transition to business-as-usual (BAU).

C. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Support continuous improvement of project management toolkits, onboarding templates, delivery playbooks, and tracking standards.
  • Identify delivery bottlenecks and workflow inefficiencies, recommending practical solutions to enhance operational agility and customer onboarding velocity.
  • Facilitate post-implementation reviews and retrospectives to document lessons learned and integrate findings into future delivery cycles.
  • Contribute to building best-in-class delivery standards across the APAC Program Management practice.

Required Skills & Experience

Program & Project Expertise

  • 5–7 years of demonstrable experience managing multi-stakeholder technical or business implementation projects.
  • Practical working knowledge of modern project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, hybrid).
  • Demonstrated capability tracking schedule, scope, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
  • Solid proficiency in RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) tracking and resolution.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled platforms or workflow optimization tools is beneficial. Able to recognize the strategic value of AI in driving continuous improvement and performance excellence.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Proven track record coordinating multidisciplinary delivery teams in matrixed organizations.
  • Customer-centric approach balancing delivery timelines with commercial outcomes.
  • Strong capability to deconstruct business and functional requirements into actionable work breakdown structures.

Communication & Influence

  • High-caliber written and oral communication skills suitable for cross-functional alignment.
  • Ability to influence peers and departmental leads without direct disciplinary authority.
  • Structured, solutions-oriented demeanor when addressing timeline slippages or operational hurdles.
  • Confident facilitation skills for sprint ceremonies, steering updates, and kickoff workshops.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Recognised certification preferred: PMP, PRINCE2 (Practitioner/Foundation), PMI-ACP, CSM, or AgilePM.
  • Industry experience in SaaS, enterprise software, telecommunications, mobility, or financial services.
  • Hands-on proficiency with project platforms including Jira, Confluence, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong personal accountability with an ownership-driven approach to delivery milestones.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and disciplined in follow-through.
  • Adaptable to evolving priorities, regional timelines, and ambiguous business environments.
  • Collaborative, team-first mentality committed to customer success and operational excellence.
