Summary
About the Position: Serve as a Program Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, Military Integration Division in Cincinnati, OH.
Duties
- Serve as senior Program Manager for specific programs with responsibility for exercising management and operational control over the assigned programs.
- Manage a variety of special, one-of-a-kind world-wide construction programs and projects critical to the accomplishment of the Corps mission.
- Develops standard methods and procedures to be used throughout USACE in managing projects and funds, issuing design and construction directives; and develop and submits budgets for design/construction funds.
- Monitor the progress of priority and high visibility projects while keeping informed of progress through the review of reports, programming documents, construction directives, funds authorization documents, and other program material.
- Provides program guidance and reviews construction directives for reasonableness of cost, conformance with criteria, and compliance with policies and procedures.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes managing construction program projects; developing and submitting budgets for design and construction funds; and preparing design and construction management policy. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
