Finance and Global Business Services (FGBS) is looking for a Program Manager to help build and scale Amazon Future FGBS Leader (AFFL), our childhood-to-career education program focused on finance and accounting careers. AFFL connects students from the communities where we live and work with opportunities in finance and business services, from classroom career visits through multi-year immersive programs in high school and college. We have big goals, and we want a Program Manager who is excited to grow a program that is already showing strong momentum and make it reach further.

This role is a mix of program management and hands-on content creation. You will manage an established area of the program and deliver the projects that keep it running and improving, from scoping through execution: designing curriculum, producing student and volunteer materials, coordinating events, and tracking outcomes for the students we serve. This is a builder's role, not a status-reporting one. You will create lesson plans, workbooks, facilitator guides, assessment frameworks, and event experiences, moving from a summer curriculum one week to an alumni event the next. You may work directly with students, Amazon volunteers, school and district partners, and nonprofit organizations.

The successful candidate will be a strong individual contributor who manages ambiguity, works independently while seeking guidance as needed, and earns trust across the team and our partner organizations. You will analyze program data to understand what is working, surface actionable insights, and bring recommendations to the program lead to help shape where AFFL goes next. You will help us anticipate challenges and opportunities as the program grows.

The role requires solid planning skills, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to deliver quality program materials and experiences at scale. You will balance creative thinking with execution, keep multiple projects on track at once, and continuously improve the mechanisms that help the program run.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • - Manage an established area of AFFL, delivering the projects that keep it running and improving, from scoping through execution.
  • - Design and produce program content: curriculum, workbooks, facilitator guides, and event experiences.
  • - Manage day-to-day execution of key projects, working with students, volunteers, and nonprofit partners.
  • - Facilitate workshops and student experiences, bringing creativity to execution and delivery.
  • - Be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • - Dive deep into program data and analyze trends.
  • - Communicate effectively with peers, students, and education partners.

Basic qualifications

  • - 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred qualifications

  • - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • - Experience designing and facilitating workshops or learning experiences for students
