Position Overview
Alarm.com (ALRM) is a profitable, growing technology company delivering cloud-based software and connected device solutions in the Internet of Things (IoT) space. As we continue to grow and scale globally, our ERP and finance systems are critical to operational efficiency, financial accuracy, scalability, and cross functional alignment across the organization.
We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate key initiatives across Alarm.com’s Finance Systems portfolio, including ERP platforms, billing systems, procurement applications, and related finance technology initiatives. This individual contributor role will help drive execution across cross functional programs by managing timelines, dependencies, risks, communications, and operational coordination across multiple teams.
This role is ideal for someone with strong program or project management experience who can independently manage workstreams, improve organizational alignment, and help drive successful delivery across business critical finance systems initiatives.
The Program Manager will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Billing, Operations, and external implementation partners in a highly visible and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate Finance Systems initiatives across ERP, billing, procurement, and related operational platforms
Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, action items, and communication across multiple concurrent initiatives
Partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, and external vendors to drive program execution and delivery alignment
Drive governance activities including status reporting, stakeholder updates, meeting coordination, and issue tracking
Collaborate with business and technical teams to support planning, execution, and rollout of finance systems enhancements and transformation initiatives
Track cross functional dependencies and proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks or operational impacts
Facilitate prioritization discussions, milestone tracking, and follow through across project teams
Coordinate with implementation partners and vendors to support execution against agreed timelines and deliverables
Maintain program documentation, reporting, communication plans, and operational processes across initiatives
Drive process improvement efforts that enhance execution consistency, visibility, and cross team coordination
Support organizational readiness and change management activities related to finance systems initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience
5–8 years of experience in program management, project management, business operations, or related roles supporting enterprise systems or operational initiatives
Experience managing or coordinating cross functional projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
Experience working with Finance, Accounting, ERP, billing, procurement, or operational systems initiatives
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive follow through
Experience coordinating timelines, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communication across projects or programs
Ability to independently drive programs and influence cross functional stakeholders without direct authority
Experience working with vendors, implementation partners, or external consulting teams is a plus
Ability and willingness to learn and use AI tools to improve productivity
Domain Knowledge
Familiarity with ERP systems, finance systems, or enterprise operational platforms
Understanding of project coordination, program governance, and cross functional delivery processes
Ability to manage dependencies and support risk mitigation across multiple workstreams
Working knowledge of finance or operational business processes is preferred
Ability to quickly understand business workflows and support operational transformation efforts

Nice to Have
Experience supporting ERP implementations or finance systems transformation initiatives
Familiarity with environments that include both homegrown and third party enterprise systems
Experience supporting governance, PMO, or portfolio coordination activities
Exposure to SaaS, subscription, or hardware related business models
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and other Microsoft productivity and collaboration tools
PMP, Agile, or related project/program management certifications are a plus
