Project Accountant

SUMMARY:

The Project Accountant performs a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and processing of project cost and payment records, including providing overall support to operations staff with financial details.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field , or equivalent years of relevant experience

Tw o (2) to four (4) years of Accounting experience

Public accounting experience preferred

Construction industry experience a plus

D ecision making, research and analytical problem-solving skills

T ime management skills with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and d emands

Ability to work independently

CMiC software experience a plus

Able to quickly learn and understand new software and systems

TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Independently updates existing account reconciliation and analysis templates (over / under billing , closeout reports , negative cash , prepaids , accruals)

E fficiently produce s work deliverables in CMiC

Applies general knowledge of GAAP developed through education or experience to correctly record accruals , prepaids , over / under billing adjustments

Reviews, validates , and analyzes CMiC reporting (P SR s / Invoices to be posted, expense reimbursements, GL account balances)

Creates accurate schedules and submits to Management

Applies general knowledge of excel to update recurring or ad hoc excel schedules

T he base salary (or hourly) range for this position is

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 DAVIS is committed to providing our employees with a competitive total compensation package that enhances your quality of life.
